Eligibility criteria
Like any other examination, CLAT also has eligibility criteria. All the aspirants willing to appear for this exam will only be eligible if they have obtained an aggregate of 45% in your higher secondary school/ 12th/ Intermediate or any equivalent certificate that too from a recognised board. All the candidates falling in the SC or ST category need to have a minimum aggregate of 40%.
All the general category aspirants appearing for the exam should be below the age of 20 years on the exam date. All the SC/ST candidates and Persons with Disability are given leverage of 2 years which means the age bar for them is 22 years.
All the candidates who have appeared for their 12th exam and are awaiting results can also appear for the CLAT exam but need to show their passing certificate at admission. All the candidates should have the proofs supporting their claims and other required documents as well.
